MEET GEORGIE
Georgie’s Greek Taverna is more than just a food truck — it’s a tribute to family, tradition, and the flavors of Greece.
Named after my father, George Plaskasovitis — or “Georgie” as all my friends affectionately call him — our taverna is rooted in love and legacy. Georgie grew up on the beautiful island of Corfu, Greece, and came to the U.S. in 1964 at just 16 years old. He spent years working in some of Boston’s classic restaurants, eventually settling down with my mother, Maria, and raising our family….

Fresh & Flavorful
Everything we serve is made fresh, with love, using the highest quality ingredients. Our produce comes from local farms, and every dish is homemade — just like my parents used to make. No shortcuts, no compromises — just real Greek food the way it’s meant to be.
Convenient & Local
We are based out of Quincy, MA and proudly serve our community and surrounding South Shore towns.

Authenticly Greek
At Georgie’s Greek Taverna, every bite tells a story—one written in the kitchens of yiayiás and passed down through generations. These are the time-honored family recipes that have survived wars, weddings, and wild family dinners. From slow-simmered sauces to perfectly spiced meats, each dish carries the warmth, wisdom, and wild spirit of our Greek roots. We don’t just cook; we carry on traditions—seasoned with love, laughter, and a little extra olive oil.
